The role

Callan Connect are a family-owned civil engineering company based in Aston and Birmingham specialising in the telecommunications industry. Callans work with CityFibre to support the roll out of 5G across the UK.The successful candidate will be responsible for the management and control of materials in a busy Yard.

You will help to build the Future of Fibre by:

• Operating a FLT (2 years exp minimum)
• Loading & un-loading vehicles
• General yard duties
• Any reasonable requests from your line manager
• Work is conducted inside and outside
• Keeping the workspaces in the yard clean and tidy
• Compliance to H&S / Quality regulations and procedures to ensure the safety of you and other site personnel.
• To undertake any other duties as and when necessary to meet the varying demands of the business.
• PLEASE NOTE THIS ROLE IS MAINLY OUTSIDE IN ALL WEATHER

You will need:

• Experience of working in a stores/yard environment
• In date FLT licence to be held
• Good organisational skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Proactive approach to problem solving

Schedule:

Working hours 7am-5pm
