Job Title Streetworks Administrator
Location: Bradford
Reports to PMO Manager
Responsible for Coordination and administration of Streetworks Notices & Permits
Levels of Authority As designated by PMO Manager
Main Function of Role
To ensure Notices and Permits are issued, reported on and completed efficiently in accordance with the New Roads and Streetworks Act 1991, the Traffic Management Act 2004 and Contract delivery timescales and processes
Key Objectives
- To administer the starts/stops/registrations of notices and permits on statutory or client systems where applicable
- Investigate Fixed Penalty Notices, Section 74 Charges and Defect Charges in accordance with NRSWA 1991 and the TMA and gather evidence for all Local Authority meetings
- Report on all FPN's, Section 74's and Defects to relevant operational management teams
- Investigate all Notification Responses
- Chase any penalty charges with the Client
Key Skills
- Must be able to communicate professionally and effectively, particularly to external parties such as the client, their customers and local authorities
- Must have the skills and confidence to control the operational depot
- Must be able to react positively to problems and take suitable action to prevent delivery or deadline failures
- Must be adept in use of bespoke systems and Office 365, particularly Excel and Word, Internet and email
Core Skills
- Must have good organisational and time management skills
- Must be reliable, tolerant and be able to get on with others
- Must have basic numeracy skills, to GCSE standard
- City and Guild NRSWA Coordination of Streetworks

- Basic First Aid
- NVQ Business Administration or display equivalent in experience
