PURPOSE OF POSITION
To ensure that GCU Assets (materials, plant and consumables) are managed in and out of the Depot in accordance with GCU Work Procedures.

KEY DUTIES

• Key owner of GCU Stock Management Process; Goods In/ Goods Out
• Operation of SAGE Stock system
• Conduct of formal monthly stock count and weekly anomaly checks
• Management of float for key operational consumables
• Key person manning the Service Desk/ Goods In Area
• Ensure that Stores Areas are ordered, clean and tidy preventing slips, trips and falls within the area
• Follow GCU HS Policies and applicable processes

QUALIFICATION, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

• High level of attention to detail
• Able to use Microsoft Office Package - including basic Excel
• Familiar with computerised stock management packages
• Experience in a stores environment (construction/ telecom desirable)
• Able to work independently
• Capable of communicating with Operational Gangs/ Service Desk
