As Civil Engineer, Reinstatement Operative, Highways Technician, Tarmac Operative, Groundworks, Groundworker working for a local Build Partner, you will play a key role in helping CityFibre to achieve our mission of delivering full Fibre to up to 8 million premises across the UK - building the Fibre future and be part of something far bigger than just a standard job.
Teams of Civils Engineers - Groundworkers for a long run of work carrying out reinstatement works after new fibre networks have been installed across the UK.
Standard team will require at least one member to hold a class 2 driving license. At least one member to hold a NRSWA 01 - 08 accreditation.
You will help to build the Future of Fibre by:
- Surfacing course layer to be laid at specified depth for footway/carriageway
- Compacting surface course to correct depth as per SROH
- Over-banding footway/carriageway edgings as required, with prior Local Authority agreement
- Replacing all missing lines/lettering/symbols prior to leaving site
You will need:
- NRASWA required: units 01/03/05/06
- First Aid
- Manual Handling
- Abrasive Wheel
This is an excellent opportunity to secure a long run of work for an established or newly formed Reinstatement team of Civil Engineers - Groundworkers. Initial locations are Norwich in Norfolk and Bury St Edmunds in Suffolk East Anglia. Further locations will be made available with lodge and travel provided.
