Fibre Delivery Manager

My client, Network Plus, a business Partner to CityFibre is working on a long term contract in the area of Halifax. Looking to build their team and are looking for a Delivery Manager with extensive fibre experience

As a Fibre Delivery Manager, you will be working as part of a team being responsible for planning, scheduling, implementing, controlling and evaluating the ongoing projects

Responsibilities

• Manage the day-to-day delivery within the area of Southend to also include safety, quality, street works and supplier performance
• Financial monitoring of the project and keep the team informed of changes and forecast
• Working closely with the Fibre Planner and the Fibre contractors
• Creating and delivering project work plans
• Managing and leading FTE field engineers responsible for ongoing cabling contracts
• Managing all project staff, overseeing work schedules, and assigning specific duties accordingly
• Ensure correct resource requirements for the completion of all works throughout the project term

Essential

• Experience in leading, motivating and managing teams
• Understanding and knowledge of FFTP build, Openreach and Civils delivery
• Experience in Supplier / Contract management
• Experience in splicing testing, testing and fault finding on fibre optic networks
• Experience and qualification within streetworks and understanding of the New Roads & Streetworks Act
• Extensive experience in working with / for telecommunications operators or service partners
• Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Project
